week 1

this week was all about research,research and more research!!!!i looked into the colors and styles used in Marvel,DC comics,created 3 pieces of work in a style of Frank Miller,very dark and crisp with splashes of color.i looked at a wide range of comics and novels from the last 30 years,including

*Kamandi - The last boy on earth No.7 July 1972

*The World Of Metropolis created in 1988 published by Byrne ,Mortimer

*Swamp Thing Vol.8 DC comics 1998,published by Alan Moore

*DC comics SuperMan - Secret origin 2010 published Geoff Johns, Gary Frank , Jon Sibal

These comics helped me create a basic story bored,that I presented to my group,who I'm working with in my FMP.

On friday i created 3 chalk and charcoal drawings using a life model,she modeled for 2 hours in a area we created using dramatic lighting.
